The Happy Valley-Goose Bay Minor Soccer Association is pleased to provide annually, one scholarship to a Male recipient and one scholarship to a Female recipient to the value of $500.00.

These scholarships recognize individuals who give an extraordinary amount of time and effort to promoting Soccer.

Scholarships will be awarded to post-secondary students based upon Labrador residency, Principles and Code of Ethics of the MSA and involvement in the development of youth in the community through Soccer activities such as:

Coaching, mentoring, officiating, or other volunteer activities.
Leading through example by way of membership in local, provincial or national Soccer.

CRITERIA:

Entering post high school education this current year (2010)
Proof of enrollment in recognized post-secondary institution as full time student
Good academic standing (High School Transcript)
Documentation of Soccer related activities
Must have played within the HVGB Minor Soccer Association
