Parents that have registered late will be able to pay their registration fees at the arena conference room downstairs. Please do not walk into the arena expecting to register your child. You, and more importantly, your child, may be disappointed if the age group is already full.
On arrival at the arena, please take your child directly to the floor where Minor Soccer staff will guide you to your coach who will provide a tee shirt and confirm names. Each fun session will consist of a fifteen minute warm up followed by a forty-five minute game of four min shifts.
ALL teams and players will play equal time throughout the program. No scores or goal scorers are recorded. Children may play any position they wish. Players are asked to bring a water bottle with them and wear sneakers or soccer shoes with flat soles.
NO CLEATS on the wooden floor please.
The Indoor Program will take a break during the Labador Soccer Cup week in which up to thirty senior Mens and Ladies teams from all over Labrador will compete for the 28th Annual tournament. No Shriners Soccer will be played during the week of the Cup. The indoor season will conclude with the "Soccer Fest". All Shriners players will attend a fun filled outdoor day of soccer games, draw prizes, music and great food. Details will be released during the program.
Parents that want to have their child progress further with their soccer can have their child attend age group try-outs. All-Star team try-outs will commence in early May. It is our intention to have all eight All-Star teams selected by mid May so that they can fund raise and prepare for their August tournaments. All-Star teams will be selected for Boys and Girls in U10, U12, and U16 categories and if numbers permit, U18 Girls and Boys. U14 Girls and Boys teams have already been chosen.
A special thank you to our loyal Minor Soccer sponsors: Shriners, Kinsmen / Kinettes, Hamilton Drugs, Pizza Delight, Terry's Tents, Subway, Canadian Helicopters and NALCOR Energy.
