2011 All Stars Tryouts
For all parents interested in having their children try out for the All-Star teams that will travel to the Island in Jul/Aug, please note the following:
Try-outdates have been set as follows: Tournament dates:
U10 Boys Sat May 7 9.00-10.15am

U10 Girls Sat May 7 10.15-11.30am

IN ADDITION to the TRY-OUT weekend, coaches will be viewing all players in each age group during the Shriners Program which we hope will start May 1st.
The U14 Boys and Girls All-Star teams have been selected as of Dec 1st 2010. Tournament dates August 11-14, CBS.
Parents of the U10 age group..... IF YOUR CHILD is selected, YOU will be expected to travel with the player, or have another parent assume responsibility for the child.
BUDGETS for each All-Star team will be set by May 20th, Parents can expect players to have to raise approximately $700-$800 each for the trip in August. Fund raising activities will begin as soon as the teams are selected and the managers placed.
Each player will be expected to pay a $100 all-star fee (which may be fundraised).
Players will be permitted to take a maximum of three weeks holiday and
must have at least 75% attendance at training sessions.

Head Coach must have minimum of CSA Community Youth/Child Coaching certification. Be able to train the team throughout the summer months and travel with the team in August.
